Capitalism, sexism and liberation

In Canada today, women still make over 30% less than men, on average. Children's toys are rigorously segregated along gender lines. Affordable child care is nearly non-existent, while women still do the majority of caring and cleaning in the home. At the same time, Tory MPs regularly introduce bills to try to roll back the hard-won victories of access to abortion. Why is it so hard to achieve equality under capitalism? What would real liberation look like? Join us for this discussion.
