The Iranian Revolution was a pivotal event, with students and workers overthrowing the US-backed Shah and challenging imperialism. But the revolution was taken over by a new regime that continues to oppress. Now the West is using the regime as pretext to escalate threats against Iran, undermining local resistance movements. Join a discussion about the history of the Iranian Revolution with people who were part of the struggle, the ongoing movements within Iran, and how we can challenge imperialism.
