Years into the economic crisis, countries across Europe are continuing to impose brutal austerity measures, while whipping up Islamophobia and anti-migrant racism to provide scapegoats.

The election of the Syriza government in Greece, in the wake of a series of general strikes and anti-fascist mobilizations, raised the hopes for left alternative governments across the continent.

But now the Syriza leadership is agreeing to the same austerity measures they were elected to oppose, and is turning on the opposition members in its own party.

Join a discussion with Italian activist Stefano Agnoletto on crisis and resistance in Europe and the lessons we can learn.
