The war in the Ukraine has thrown up many debates. Russia brutally attacked the Ukraine, but, it was immediately clear that it was about more than just the Ukraine and that NATO's attempt to increase its influence in Ukraine set the stage for the conflict.  The power struggle playing out between Russia and NATO is the real battle, and both powers are willingly sacrificing the lives of ordinary people in the struggle. V.I. Lenin,  wrote during WWI about how the battle between imperialist blocs is a consequence of the development of monopoly and finance capital. His work, Imperialism the highest stage of capitalism, is very relevant to what is playing out today in Ukraine. Please join us for a study group on Lenin's ideas with speaker, Faline Bobier.
