Three years ago, the Indigenous led #ShutDownCanada movement saw thousands marching in the streets and organizing blockades in solidarity with the Wet'suwet'en people. The actions caused a political crisis for the Trudeau government as blockades brought rail traffic to a standstill. What are the lessons of those historic days of action and can this legacy be the foundation for a broader movement for Indigenous rights?
