Once again we are in an age of conflict between powerful nations. The Canadian military is considering options in case the US invades. Greenland is inviting NATO troops in to try to prevent a US takeover. Meanwhile all the NATO powers remain united in their support for Israel’s genocide in Palestine.

During this conflict between imperialist nations like Canad and the US, what is the role of nationalism? Can there be a “left” Canadian nationalism in a country that was founded on genocide and ethnic cleansing? Or can we imagine an internationalist response to military aggression where we all unite against the 1% and their wars?
