From Harris to Hudak: lessons in the fight against austerity

Location

Steelworkers Hall

Sunday June 1, 5:30pm at Steel Hall: 25 Cecil Street, Toronto

With Tim Hudak's Tories leading some polls, there is increasing fear of the return of Harris' attack on poor and working class people. But there is no clear alternative: the Liberals are tacking left to bury their own record of austerity and appeal to the anti-Hudak sentiment, while the NDP have refused to lead any fightbacks--leading many people to "strategic voting."

What can we learn about the fight against Harris to challenge the new right-wing threat, and to build a real alternative? Join a discussion about how we can build resistance movements through the election and beyond.

Dinner and refreshments provided. $10-20 donation or pay what you can.
