Ten million soldiers died in the pointless butchery of the first world war. Soldiers did not quietly accept their lot, there were rebellions in all of the armies culminating in the mass desertions of soldiers during the Russian Revolution and the German Revolution of 1918. These are the events that ended the first world war. Join us for a discussion of soldier's revolts and the revolutions that ensued.
